Get Emotionally Healthy

Answer each with either:

(The fully emotional healthy person answers Always in each item.)
Ability to be in touch with one's own feelings
  1. It's easy for me to identify what I'm feeling.
  2. I'm able to share openly to a few close people about my feelings on a regular basis.
  3. I'm able to feel and express my anger in helpful ways.
Ability to break free from the power of the past
  1. I take personal responsibility for what I've become - not blaming other persons or events for what has happened to my life - for I'm a product of the choices I've made in my life.
  2. I'm intentionally facing the painful past events, acknowledging their effects on my life, healing inner wounds, and freeing myself from my addictions, if any.
  3. I acknowledge how my family's way of relating and "generational sins" have affected me, yet I overcome these weaknesses and live according to how God wants me to live.
