My Story...
i chose to be here in a land unknown to me, a land i couldn't call my own. circumstances somehow pushed me to take this path and leave the land of my being. i wanted to let go, to move on, to set myself free. so here i am, trudging on this land, totally free but all by myself. every now and then i wonder what my life could be should i have chosen to stay. but i never regretted my decision. being here on my own is having my own self and the whole of me to love. now i have the chance of forgiving myself and treating life light and easy. everything is simple now. i find joy in seeing the sun shine, in seeing the children play, in watching an old couple dance. i find joy in all these little things and careful on how i judge those around me, lest i forget the part i play in everything that involves me. yet with all these joys, i am still afraid. i am scared. i have my dreams, my speculations, and my fears. i know not what my future holds. only one thing is certain, He knows. and so in my journey, though on my own, i am still not alone... for i hold His hands and let him walk beside me in every step of the way. i trust Him and so i should not be afraid. somehow i have to remind myself of that. God said it. i believe it. that settles it.
